Size labels are useful. Measurements are better. Doodles & Scribble can use different garment styles and product blanks, so the fit of one medium is not guaranteed to be identical to another. Start with the exact product-specific measurements whenever they are available.
Use the exact product guide first
Where a product page includes a Size & Fit Guide, use that chart for the exact product you are viewing. Product-specific measurements take priority over general sizing advice.
Measure a garment you already like
- Choose a similar garment that fits you the way you want.
- Lay it flat on a level surface without stretching it.
- Measure the same points shown in the product chart.
- Compare your measurements with the available sizes.
Body measurements and garment measurements are different
A product chart may show body measurements, finished-garment measurements or both. Read the labels carefully. A finished garment usually needs room beyond your body measurement, depending on the intended fit and fabric.
Between sizes?
Think about whether you prefer a closer or looser fit, then consider the cut and material of the product. Stretch garments, oversized garments and fitted garments can behave very differently.
Normal manufacturing variation
Small production tolerances can occur in textile products, so measurements are a practical guide rather than a promise that every physical garment will be identical to the millimetre. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
Ordered the wrong size?
