Doodles & Scribble wants the website and customer service to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible. We use recognised accessibility good practice, including WCAG 2.2 AA as a design and testing reference, and we keep improving rather than claiming a certification we have not independently obtained.
What we aim to provide
- clear page structure and meaningful headings;
- keyboard-operable navigation and controls wherever practical;
- visible focus states and controls large enough to use comfortably;
- readable text, sensible contrast and layouts that adapt to smaller screens;
- labels and instructions for forms;
- text alternatives for informative images where appropriate; and
- content that remains usable when text is enlarged or the page is zoomed.
Product images and visual artwork
Artwork is an important part of the products we sell, so some visual detail cannot be fully conveyed by a short text alternative. We aim to provide the important product name, type, options, price, description and purchasing information as text rather than requiring a customer to understand an image alone.
Third-party services
Some parts of the customer journey can use third-party technology, such as Stripe payment components or carrier tracking pages. We choose established providers and work to keep the surrounding Doodles & Scribble experience accessible, but we do not control every element of a third-party service.
Reasonable adjustments and alternative help
If a disability makes it difficult to use part of the website or access information, contact us. Tell us what you are trying to do and what would help. We will consider reasonable adjustments and, where practicable, provide the information or customer-service help in another accessible way.
Report a problem
If you find an accessibility problem, please include the page address, what went wrong, the device/browser or assistive technology you were using if relevant, and the outcome you were trying to achieve. That gives us the best chance of fixing the underlying issue rather than only the symptom.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is part of the site's ongoing maintenance. New pages, controls and third-party integrations can introduce new issues, so we review and improve the experience as the store changes.
